When building up a strong transmission - this is the first place to start. The Rhino transmission case is 40% stronger the a standard case. This Genuine VW part has factory cast extra deep webbing and reinforcement - built right in. Will directly replace and Beetle / Ghia and Type-3 swing axle tranny case from 1961 to 1969. Bus from 1961 to 1967. This is the choice of all the top tranny builders when building hi-performance transmissions for Drag racing - off-road or sand Buggies and full on street cars.Also - the additional webbing cast inside the bell housing provides the added strength which is required when running mid-engine sand buggies set ups.
