This Top Quality Flat-Top 96mm Piston and Biral Cylinder set comes complete with Rings. Designed to Fit 2.0L Porsche 914 and VW Bus and Vanagon with the Type-4 2000cc Engine. Can also be used to upgrade all 1700-1800cc Type-4 engines when a 71-79mm stroke crank is used.
These 2.0 Liter 96mm Flat Top Performance Pistons With Biral Cylinders are a High-Compression Big Bore Pistons Upgrade with slip-in liners WILL raise your compression ratio unless you make adjustments when assembling your engine.
No case machine work is required on 2000cc engine blocks or cylinder heads. The 1700cc and 1800cc engines can also be upgraded with the correct machine work to the Engine Case and Heads.
Biral Liners are a cast iron sleeve with aluminum fins, making them lighter and dissipate heat much faster. Perfect for adding some compression to your performance rebuild. Can be used with stock 71mm stroke crankshaft, or up to a 78mm Stroker Crank when proper steps are taken for correct rod lengths and compression ratios.
