Help to prevent oil starvation during hard corning and acceleration. Made in the U.S.A. of 356 T6 Aircraft Quality Aluminum. Comes complete with metal oil pickup tube and installation hardware. Fit all Bus 17-2000cc Type-4 style engines as well as 914.
Special Cleaning instructions!! Because you are working with your engines oiling system, please inspect the inside of any of our oil sump kits for sand. Although rare, sometimes sand can remain stuck to the inside of your deep sump after manufacturing. Sand is used in the casing process and has to be cleaned out at the factory, sometime we have found small clumps of sand the size of a sugar cubes stuck to the inside of the sump. Please take the time to inspect and clean as necessary. This is not reason for return as this sand can easily be clean out and the sump will work perfectly afterwards.
