PER-D186604 - PERTRONIX - 009 STYLE MECHANICAL ADVANCE DISTRIBUTOR WITH FLAMETHROWER IGNITION MODULE - FITS MOST AIRCOOLED 12VOLT MODELS

Pertronix has been a leader in building hi-performance ignition modules for year. Now they have combined their famous Flame-Thrower ignition with their all new custom “MADE IN THE USA” 009 style mechanical advance distributor.  They have improved on the original 009 advance curve to give the best possible curve and amount of advance. This new distributor has a full 27 degrees of smooth advance which starts at 1000 rpm and comes full in at 3000 rpm. This advance curve is far superior to the original Bosch 009 distributor and will work perfectly on all 1600cc Beetle style performance engines as well as the 17-2000cc Bus Type-4 style engines which need the longer advance curve to work properly. Must be used with a genuine Pertronix Flame-Thrower performance coil. See coil part number ACC-C10-5842
