You can also use these cylinder heads on the 1983-1985 1900cc Vanagon watercooled engine. If you plan to use these heads on the earlier 1900cc engine, you will need to replace the pair of heads, as these later model heads have larger sized valves. These late model heads will give your 1900cc engine a small boost in power.
