Description
This is the contact point located in the shifter base of the autostick shifter. When you touch the shifter this contact grounds out on the actual shifter base and activates the vacuum clutch servo which then actuates the pressure plate so you can shift gears. This contact point wears with time and may not conduct as it should making shifting difficult if not impossible. Refer to the Bentley manual #ACC-C10-9652 for replacement instructions.
