These are an excellent Mexican reproduction designed to replace the original wiper motor in genuine Mexican made VW Beetles. These can easily be installed in 1968 and later Standard Beetles and 71-72 Super Beetles. The various years require slightly different wiring connections and this motor does NOT reset to the off position automatically. Therefore it will stop at whatever position when you turn the wipers off.
