This Late model VW Bus fuel tank conversion kit includes a 73 and late style fuel tank along with a 73-on fuel sending unit which allows this tank to become a 68-79 universal fuel tank suitable for all style of Carbureted engines. This conversion kit fits the 68-71 VW Bus but doesn't use the original style fuel sending unit. It is a direct replacement for the 72-74 VW Bus which came with factory carburetors, and is perfect for all VW Buses from 19-68-1979 which have a carburetor system. Will not work with the factory Fuel Injections models from 75-79.
