Exclusive to Cip1, this complete stainless steel replacement exhaust kit is made in Europe for select water-cooled VW Vanagon applications. It is designed as a complete replacement exhaust system for 1986-1991 Vanagon models, with additional mounting brackets required when adapting the kit to 1983-1985 water-cooled Vanagons.
The stainless steel construction offers excellent corrosion resistance compared with standard mild steel exhaust components, making this kit a strong choice for long-term exhaust system service or restoration work. The kit includes the exhaust pipes, muffler, clamps, and installation hardware shown.
Important Fitment Note: This exhaust kit is not for use with catalytic converter-equipped exhaust systems and will not fit Syncro 4x4 models. This system also does not include a threaded O2 sensor bung insert. If an O2 sensor bung is required for your installation, one will need to be installed by a qualified muffler or exhaust shop.
For 1983-1985 water-cooled Vanagon installation, this kit requires both 1986-1991 style mounting brackets: VWC-025-251-519-F and VWC-025-251-520-F. Click here to view these brackets.
