For some time now, we have had a very difficult time getting gear reduction starter from our supplier. We now offer the WOSP Performance "Made-in-the-United Kingdom" Gear/Drive-reduction starter. This unit is design to fit all 12 volt (130 tooth flywheels) Type-1 Beetle style transmissions. With 1.0KW and 4.4 Gear reduction, this Gear Drive starter provides reliable fast starts in all conditions for engines up to 11:1 Compression.
Please Notes: These starters are supplied in 2 different configurations, the wires entering from the left or the right.
Either one might be supplied based off manufacture inventory supplied, but both are directly interchangeable.
