The Compu-fire heavy-duty 12-volt coil must be used when installing a compu-fire ignition module for proper operation. And is a great up-grade from the stock coil for stock applications. Epoxy filled means that even in severe off-road conditions- the coil will not over heat and start leaking oil. Most older style coils use oil for cooling and are prone to leaking.
