Oil exits through a streamlined pump cover and returns via a CSP Products full-flow adapter or direct case bore into the main oil gallery—maintaining consistent channel cross-sections for unrestricted flow straight to the bearings.
Our CSP Products oil pumps come factory-equipped as full-flow units, eliminating the pressure-side oil channel hole. This skips the tedious sealing process, streamlining installation. A reliable O-ring on the pump cover replaces the traditional paper gasket, guaranteeing a leak-proof fit while allowing just enough axial play for optimal gear operation. Built-in pressure relief valve safeguards your oil cooler, filter, and lines by venting excess pressure before it reaches the external circuit—crucial during cold starts when thick oil heightens system stress.
CSP FullFlow pumps suit both 3-point camshaft engines (up to 1970) and 4-point camshaft models (from 1971). Kits include all necessary seals, extended studs, and nuts for hassle-free setup.For engines running high RPMs over extended periods, we advise bypassing the stock internal pressure regulator (control piston) in favor of an external unit.
