When it comes to its design, the VW Beetle muffler doesn't flow very well. If you are looking for better performance without buying a complete sport exhaust, we recommend our CSP Products High-Flow stainless steel tailpipes with an increase flow of 139 percent.
Because of the enlarged inner diameter (32.5 mm vs 21 mm, stock) we could reduce the backpressure compared to the stock tailpipe. This leads to an improved cylinder charge and a better combustion, resulting in increased horsepower, decreased engine temperature and enhanced durability. With their sound baffle filled with stainless steel wool, they conform to the stock tailpipes, which most customers prefer. The outer diameter is 42 mm behind the tailpipe clamp (ID 32.5 mm), and they measure 250 mm in length overall.
