Description
This CSP Products disc brake system is designed especially for Thing (Type-181) from build year 1971 onwards with original 14'' steel wheels. But it can also be used with most of the aftermarket 15'' wheels.
The CSP German made disc brake kits are the highest quality Front Disc Brake System available. This kit comes with rotors with 5x205mm bolt pattern. Every kit is complete with CNC machined cast alloy hubs with rotors and wheel bearings installed. CNC machined caliper brackets, new 48mm GM calipers with pads, grease caps, stainless-steel dust covers, brake hoses and fitting instructions. Gives a perfect fit - no alterations necessary.
These kits require the installation of a later model dual circuit master cylinder, If only front disc brakes will be used and standard rear drum brakes, then click here see master cylinder number VWC-113-611-015-BD.
If you plan to install disc brakes on all 4 wheels, it will be nessessary to use our Large Bore master cylinder and adapter mounting kit, click here to see master cylinder C31-611-015-000 and mounting kit C31-611-017-111.
