Please Note: These Lowered shocks are designed to be used when the car has been lowered by center adjuster or cutting and turning the torsion mounts effectively changing the lower mounting point height for the shocks. If lowered with Drop Spindles only, please use Stock Length shocks. Lowered shocks will be too short. The KYB-343218 shock requires a bushing kit to be purchased along with each shock (see number # KYB-KIT-107). The KYB-343218 shock was originally designed for another fitment. The KYB-343218 shock has the correct length and dampening rate for a a LOWERED 56-65 Beetle or Ghia. This shock DOES NOT come with the pressed in lower sleeve bushing. KYB sleeve kit # KYB-KIT-107 is required to complete the installation of this shock to your VW Beetle or Ghia. This kit comes with an assortment of bushings, only one pair is needed. The bushings then need to be pressed into the GR-2 shock to work properly. Eyelet to Eyelet Measurement: Extended: 14 1/2 Compressed: 10 1/4
