This master cylinder is for the TYPE-2 Bus 68-69. This master cylinder can also be fitted to model year 1970 (08/69-07/70). The only difference is that the 68-69 master cylinder had 3 connections and the 1970 only has 2. To fit this master cylinder to a 1970 Bus, you will need to buy a bleeder nipple, SKU #VWC-211-611-475-A sold separately.
