Description

High-performance, high-revving street and race engines require a cooling fan that can handle increased RPM. The cooling fan is often overlooked during performance engine builds, but a stock-style fan can become a failure point when engine speed increases quickly.

This SCAT fully welded and balanced 35mm I.D. doghouse cooling fan is built for added strength and smoother operation compared with a standard non-welded fan. Welded cooling fans are a smart upgrade for performance street engines, race engines, off-road engines, and any build where fan durability is a concern.

When a weak cooling fan comes apart at high RPM, it can damage the fan shroud, cooling tin, and even cylinder head fins. Don't let a basic fan become the weak link in your performance engine build.

Special note about fan width: Some suppliers list these late doghouse cooling fans as 36.8mm or 37mm wide, while others list them as 35mm. All late-model 1971-on doghouse cooling fans are based on the same 35mm inside measurement. Some advertised 37mm fans are simply being measured from the outside edge, not the inside fan width.
