MADE IN GERMANY! These rear brake drums can be modified to fit on 1967 and earlier models of Beetle or Ghia by machining 5/8 inch off of the outer spine area to allow the early model shorter axles to reach out far enough for the axle nut to be properly threaded on and tightened. Any machine shop with a lath can perform the task.
