An original-quality reproduction engine deck lid from BBT’s Silver Weld-Through Prime program, made to original Volkswagen dimensions and finished in BBT’s distinctive silver weld-through primer.
This is a clear step up from the common Brazilian reproductions, which are usually supplied in black primer and often need more work to get gaps, crown, and edge detail right. The BBT lid is built as a proper restoration panel: tighter panel shape, cleaner edges, and a coating you can weld through if any local repair or hinge work is required. The silver primer also protects the steel in storage and through fitting, instead of a basic black shop primer that offers little corrosion resistance once the panel is handled.
