Restore proper steering column electrical contact with this replacement upper inner contact ring for select late 1960s and early 1970s air-cooled VW models. This contact ring is located in the upper steering column area and is part of the steering wheel / horn contact system.
Over time, the original contact ring can become worn, damaged, brittle, or corroded, which may cause poor horn operation or unreliable electrical contact at the steering column.
