Description
Replace cracked, hardened, or fuel-smelling fuel filler connector hoses with this OE quality braided cloth covered fuel filler hose. This hose is used on the 1968.5 and later style Beetle fuel filler system that uses two short flex hose sections with a metal coupler between them.
Important Fitment Note: This hose is for the 1968.5 and later 2-piece filler hose setup. Earlier 1968 to early 1968.5 Beetle and Ghia models may use a longer filler hose version that we do not currently carry.
Fuel filler hoses are commonly replaced when fuel odor is present near the trunk or fuel tank area. Old filler hoses can become brittle, cracked, fuel-soaked, or loose at the connection points, which can allow fumes or seepage around the tank filler neck.
