Upgrade or replace the axle tube flange on your swing axle transmission with this premium CNC-machined aluminum flange from CSP Products. The axle tube flange supports and locates the axle tube at the transmission side cover while helping maintain proper sealing and bearing alignment.
CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum, this CSP flange is substantially stronger and more rigid than the original-style component while remaining lightweight. Reinforcement around the mounting area adds strength to the transmission side cover, making it suitable for both stock restorations and higher-performance applications.
The precision-machined axle tube mounting radius provides accurate guidance of the axle tube and allows improved adjustment compared with an uneven or distorted original flange. Weight-reduction pockets remove unnecessary material without sacrificing structural strength.
The flange is hard anodized for increased wear resistance and corrosion protection. Original transmission side-cover studs can still be used, and the mounting nuts are positioned close to the sockets to help reduce the possibility of leakage around the mounting area.
Fitment Note: Designed for select swing axle VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Bus, Type 3, and Porsche 356 applications. Two flanges are required per vehicle. This item is sold individually. Always confirm transmission type and axle tube configuration before ordering.
