This rear apron is a direct replacement for Beetle 1965 to 1966 with the 2 threaded holes for the bolt-on style lock catch plate. It is easily modified to fit Beetle 1961 to 1964 by welding on the early style lock catch plate.

These are the Brazilian made standard quality rear aprons that have been available for many years and sold by most of our competitors. The fit the finish is not perfect, but with some extra time and effort, these can be made to work quite well.
Now, finally, there is an excellent Top Quality reproduction rear apron available, stamped from all-new tooling, and fits very well.
